Telnyx Runs 100+ OpenClaws for GTM. OpenFunnel Feeds Them a Growing, Moving TAM Daily.

Before OpenFunnel

Telnyx had already done the hard part. Every BDR, AE, and director at Telnyx ran their own OpenClaw, an AI agent customizing research, outreach, and workflows per rep. The CRM held 100,000 accounts. Sales directors were building team dashboards on top of it. The AI layer wasn’t a pilot, it was the operating model. But the AI was running on a static substrate. And that broke things in two directions. Existing accounts remained stale. Nothing was updating the 100,000 accounts in the CRM against what those accounts were actually doing in the market day-to-day. OpenClaw drafted outreach off whatever was last entered manually. Fast, but acting on context from weeks or months ago. Net-new accounts stayed invisible. Telnyx operates in a growing TAM. New companies become ICP-fit every day, and they sat outside the CRM until someone manually found them. The TAM was growing. Telnyx’s view of it wasn’t. Two failure modes. Same root cause: no live layer between Telnyx’s GTM and what was actually happening in the market.

How OpenFunnel Helps

OpenFunnel serves as the live and growing TAM for Telnyx. Telnyx deploys 200+ custom-defined signal agents on OpenFunnel, organized around the products they sell and the ICP segments they sell into. The signal layer mirrors how Telnyx’s GTM team thinks about the market. Voice AI. Signal agents continuously find net-new or enrich:
  • Companies rapidly hiring voice AI engineers
  • Companies adding voice AI capabilities to their product, or internally building voice agents
  • Companies using competitor voice AI stacks like Vapi or Retell
  • Lookalikes of Telnyx’s closed-won voice AI customers
Telephony. Signal agents continuously find net-new or enrich:
  • Companies using Twilio for CPaaS, hiring for migration, or looking to optimize Twilio costs
  • Companies hiring for SIP trunking migration, PBX replacement, or sunsetting legacy telecom CPaaS
Specific ICP Segments. The same logic, sliced across healthcare (patient notifications, appointment scheduling), automotive dealership CRM, insurance lead qualification, fintech voice verification, and recruiting. Every segment tuned to its specific buying language and hiring patterns. These agents do two things continuously. They surface net-new accounts and people with rich Telnyx-specific context. A company that wasn’t on Telnyx’s TAM yesterday shows up today because it just opened a Senior Voice Infrastructure Engineer role, or shipped a voice AI feature, or started running Vapi. They enrich existing CRM accounts with a timeline of every Telnyx-relevant event. Every account that fires a signal gets a rolling view of what’s happening on it: the SIP migration hire on May 21st, the Dialogflow developer hire on April 29th, the Voice/Chat AI Contact Center LinkedIn post on April 8th. Visible inside OpenFunnel and synced into Salesforce, where the rep already works. The signals run daily across aggregated job postings, social platforms, technography data, and competitor LinkedIn engagement. The same timeline shows up in OpenFunnel and in the rep’s CRM. One live view of every account in the TAM, growing and updating every day.

After OpenFunnel

Telnyx’s TAM is live, enriched daily, and growing. Every account in the CRM that fires a signal updates with what just happened on it. Every company that becomes ICP-fit shows up the same day. The 200+ signal agents run every night and the results are waiting when reps start the next morning. That live layer powers the GTM org in three places at once. In every rep’s queue. Signals round-robin to BDRs and AEs daily. Every rep starts the day with a fresh, already-qualified list of accounts and events to work. Net-new companies that just entered the TAM. Existing accounts that just fired a relevant trigger. No manual hunting, no inbox-to-LinkedIn-to-CRM triage. The accounts arrive with the context already attached. In every sales director’s dashboard. Directors build their team dashboards directly on OpenFunnel data. It’s the system of record for “what’s happening in our TAM right now,” and every team measures from the same surface. In every OpenClaw running across the org. OpenClaw consumes the same signal stream the reps and dashboards do. Research, customization, and outreach all run off the same live context. Every rep’s AI agent knows what just happened on the account before the rep does. Full account context, ever-updating.

  • [X] net-new ICP-qualified companies discovered per quarter. TAM growth captured.
  • $[Y] pipeline influenced.
  • [Z]% reduction in research time per AE.
